The chapel in the Vale of Ewyas rewards a return. Second time, I photographed it more completely — whitewashed stone and bell tower, the graves around it, and inside, a Byzantine icon on the wall. Each layer reveals the place's depth. Still not there yet with how I want to render it, but getting closer. I'll be back.
