Perpetual white noise. I came to Elan Valley to photograph the Victorian dams — how they silence the landscape and replace it with engineered water. Spillways, release channels, concrete shaping the fall into geometry and pattern. Long exposures showed water as form, not as a passing moment. How the descent becomes line, how the structure coaches the flow. All else is silence.
