Taking my longest zoom lens out for a stroll around the harbour, trying to find compositions that my normal lenses may not. The telephoto compressed and layered the view — locomotive framed through a crane arm, industrial sheds stacked behind arches, riveted steel in sharp detail. Fireboat, steam, and the overlooked edge: rusted metal, graffiti on distant walls, weeds in harbour wall cracks.
