Worthing in late August with a Helios 44-2 and a 24mm. The vintage lens renders soft and dreamlike; the modern lens sharp and direct. Same town, same black and white, two very different voices about the place — elderly residents, families wading, fishing boats and groynes, the harbor's working rhythm. That lens dialogue was the point.
