Bumper cars, oil drums, road signs, a neon 'PROLES' sign—every frame seemed to layer the same geometry: salvage and defiance stacked together. Rockaway Park's a reclaimed quarry scrapyard, but the politics is written right into it: 'No Mad Oasis' above the fairground shack, 'It's a lovely day to resist capitalism' beside the rusted vehicles, Banksy-style stencils on the steel. The site doesn't hide its intent.
