The colours in this small part of the Ogwen Valley were surreal and sort of unreal. A mix of sunrise backlight with white cloud cover has given it a magical painterly look, almost to the point of looking like my edits were heavy handed. But these images are pretty representative of what it was like. The water—across moorland channels, forest streams, and glacial lakes—caught that light in every state.
