Leigh Woods on a dismal August day — ancient woodland above the Avon Gorge, opposite Clifton. Wet surfaces everywhere, 35mm lens forcing close work. Pale leaves with water droplets, moss bright on grey bark, fungi on a log. The constraint and darkness revealed texture.
