Ashton Court, Bristol — December. Ancient oaks above the Avon Gorge, the woodland shaped by estate fencing and stone walls. I kept the boundaries in frame alongside the growth: mushrooms and moss on the forest floor, ivy climbing dark trunks, the undergrowth busy with autumn decay and regeneration.
