Rose Valley's pale sandstone fairy chimneys are carved twice: first by erosion, then by human hands. Every formation seems to hold a cave dwelling or carved church; the settlement is woven directly into the geology, not beside it. I was investigating how the landscape reveals both natural and human intention in the same eroded stone.
