We started from the quieter parking lot to skip the queues for the boat, then hiked up Cascade Canyon to Hidden Falls - granite boulder fields thick with wildflowers on the way, a bull elk grazing in the trees twice over. We camped in the forest after, Jenny Lake below us the whole day.
